Another little nugget we stumbled upon on the Gainax GL website, a CD to be released on the 25th of July will contain 2 character songs for tthe three major characters of Gurren Lagann. Simon and Kamina will share a song called "Breake Through the Dream" lol engrish. Yoko will have her very own sond entitled "Trust".
As you probably know from our subs, Konami is the primary sponsor of Gurren Lagann, and they have anounced that Yoko's song, "Trust" will have a remix which will appear on their upcoming Dance Dance Revolution Supernova 2 for Playstation 2. Those with modded PS2s be sure to import it and tell me how it is.
While Character songs are neat and everything, there's still no news on the one CD we're all waiting for, the Gurren Lagann Original Sound Track. It would be pretty sweet if I could rig up something to play some music from it in the background of this site don't you think? So unless the next character CD has a Viral/Adiane duet, I don't want to hear about any more of them until the OST arrives.
Oh and I guess I'll do a brief episode 11 preview since it's coming out Saturday night.
The Great Gurren Brigade managed to sucsessfully thwart the attack of Adiane. The group is in high spirits now that their flagship, the Dai-Gurren is fully operational once more, except for Simon. He locks himself away completely from everyone else in his room. Everyone seems to have given up on him except for one person, Nia, who continues to worry. Suddenly the Dai-Gurren recieves an S.O.S from the Capitol. Leeron and the others are sure it is a trap and regard it with suspicion. However Kittan gives the order for them to go and lend their aid.
God damn it Kittan -_-
Episode 11 should release sometime on Sunday or Monday, depending on if its a monster of dialog like 10 was or not. 'Til next time Nyoronites.

Will you host the music CD on the site whenever they are available ?
This will probably cause Kittan to lose his leadership and lead to Simon taking leadership.
This will lead to the others realizing just how stupid Kittan can be and then Simon in GAR mode will take over. Or Nia. Either one's cool.
I don't think we'll be hosting the CD when it comes out, but Nipponsei usually gets things quickly. <3
And now I wish for a Viral character song. Or even better, a Viral & Nia song, because that would just be hilarious.
